Some things that I believe/do not believe:

I do not believe that there is such a thing as physical ugliness. I believe that beauty comes from within.

I believe that everyone is beautiful.

I believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

I believe in hope, love, and grace.

I hope and pray that one day, every person realizes how beautiful he or she is.

Did you know that depression in a neurodegenerative disease that slowly damages and kills your brain? Did you know that you can inherit a predisposition to depression if any of your family members and/or parents have had it? Such a stigma is placed on mental illnesses, especially depression. People think that those who suffer from it are just lazy, weak, down on themselves for no good reason. But guess what? Depression is a disease of a brain, NOT a choice. It is not simply being in a bad mood; it becomes a lifestyle that people become dependent on and addicted to. So please get your facts right before you go shaming people and placing stigmas on them for something they can’t control.
